Universal music artists list

Amazon has announced subscribers to its streaming service Prime Music will now get access to Universal Music Group's roster of artists to listen to. The new catalogue of music will be available to UK and US users as part of their Amazon Prime membership. The list of artists is expansive and includes select albums from big names such as Katy Perry, Ariana Grande and Eminem.

  • Ariana Grande
  • Eminem

Not having Universal Music onboard at launch back in June 2014 was a notable omission and it is understood the disagreement came down to money. Now this injection of artists will help flesh out the service, adding to its current list of most popular musicians.

"We are pleased to make a selection of our catalogue available on Prime Music, " said Francis Keeling, Universal Music Group global head of digital business, in a press release.

"With Amazon's tremendous reach and consumer appeal, we are delighted to build on our relationship by making Universal Music's world-class artists available to Amazon Prime members."
